About Politikkradar

Politics for everyone.

Politics is full of documents, processes and words that are hard to keep up with. Politikkradar exists to make politics accessible to ordinary people.

No party preferences. No hidden political angle. Public information for everyone.

Mission

More people should be able to keep up.

The goal is that political cases can be followed without already knowing every document type, committee and vote.

A case should be quick to read and still possible to check. That is why explanations, party positions and votes point back to the original sources.

Vision

A place for overview, not noise.

I want Politikkradar to become a place where you can see what is actually happening in politics: what a case is about, what it means for you, where it stands in the process, and what the parties think.

It is not a commentary site, a campaign platform or a ranking of who is right. It is a place to understand more.

Status

Where we are now.

Politikkradar covers the Storting nationally and Malvik municipality in full depth: cases, meetings, votes and video from the council. Malvik is where I am an elected representative myself, so the tool is built close to the need it serves.

We have dedicated tiers for party groups and newsrooms. New municipalities are connected as interest comes in - register interest for your municipality. How content is produced, labelled and withheld is set out in quality and privacy.
