The Storting has elected new members and deputy members to the Court of Impeachment for the period 2025–2031. The Court of Impeachment is an organ that prepares cases for the Court of Impeachment, and the election ensures that the Court of Impeachment has a composition with political grounding in line with the Storting's guidelines.

The Committee on Impeachment is a body set up by the Storting which has the task of preparing cases for the Court of Impeachment. The Court of Impeachment is the court which deals with cases of constitutional liability for members of the government, the Storting or the Supreme Court. The Committee consists of six members and four deputies who are elected by the Storting for a six-year term. The Election Committee has proposed new members and deputies for the period from 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2031. The Storting has adopted this recommendation unanimously.
